We created this site to help colorful folks come together and navigate to the direction we need to go in. Because let’s be honest, there are a good number of people out there that don’t know what good food looks like, let alone tastes like. As minorities, we live in tight-knit communities where celebrating food together is a huge part of our culture; it’s how we bond, where we gossip and where we remember our place in our family. Going out to eat is a treat, and coming from a background of a culture of rich food, no one wants to be let down. So what? What makes us qualified to rate food? Because most of us grew up under the world’s greatest chefs, struggling and working with what they had. And everyone one of us who values good food is a chef at heart. This site will, hopefully, help to keep us from making the terrible mistake of taking advice from people who didn’t, and don’t know what the hell they’re talking about.
